Healing, your way

Taking the first step towards your own healing is one of the biggest and arguably one of the most important steps you can take on your journey. I offer many different paths for you to explore to help get you started; remember that therapy is a journey, not a race, and healing is a process that requires time, effort, and self-compassion.

FAMILY COURT WORK

I truly believe that people do well if they can. If they aren’t doing well it is because they need support with a resource, strategic method, addition education, needs support or help with emotional regulation and sometimes simple practical help.

COUNSELLING

Counselling is a talking Therapy by a trained therapist in an emotionally safe space to help you discover, explore and clarify different ways of leading a more satisfying and resourceful life using methods and strategies based on regular personal interaction.

FAMILY TRAUMA

Families do well if they can. The family systems trauma work uses a 12 step programme to help break down barriers within the family unit and past experiences to start that healing journey.

EMDR

Eye movement, Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) was developed by trauma therapy specialists to help your brain process and release traumatic memories in unusual ways through eye movement or bilateral tapping.

HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnotherapy is a type of mind- body relaxation intervention which uses a state of focused attention and increased suggestibility to alter unwanted habits or thought patterns. The hypnotherapist can help you towards your goals by ignoring ordinary distractions and quieten your conscious mind.
